Wise ol’ Oak is thusly named because of the big horned owl in the oak tree. The original is a 30”x40” acrylic on canvas painting. I saw the four creatures in the scene at various times…an owl, a turtle, an armadillo, and a red-headed woodpecker. See if you can find them all? This has been a popular painting in several art shows and has won many ribbons. Like the first version of this same tree, it has been featured in the newspaper and has sold many prints |
