Playalinda means beautiful beach in Spanish. I painted this scene at the Cape Canaveral National Seashore just a few miles north of the Kennedy Space Center in Central Florida. It was a windy spring day with the spray of salt and sand blurring the horizon of the beach. The tall dunes are covered with ice plants and tall sea oats. The surf was rough but glinted with the warm colors of the late afternoon sun. This acrylic on canvas painting is 18”x24”. | |||
