Artist Statement

I express moods and emotions through my choice of subject, color and composition. My life is reflected in the worlds I reconstruct with paint; quiet spaces mingle with intricate details, intense colors juxtapose with subdued or even somber hues, bright notes interplay with shadows. My paintings reflect the reality I see, elevated to a thing of beauty down to the last detail.
